Mu Mu had the distinct challenge of creating a sense of digital harmony across the range of venues they had opened in Maidstone, Kent. At the time, there was a nightclub, a restaurant, an Irish bar and a secret bar available for private hire.
We took Mu Mu through a full branding process for each of the venues, that then led to a series of interconnected web presences. Zephyr are currently working with Mu Mu to launch an Italian Restaurant and to form growth strategies that will help drive bookings for their range of venues.
The Mu Mu brand was highly unique and interesting, but this originality could only come through via a clear digital delineation between the different venues. We created each of the venue websites to look visually different so they stood out from each other, while maintaining the connection between styles to create the 'Mu Mu family'.
Zephyr were careful to ensure that each venue developed its own personality as a starting point from a brand perspective. And then for the website designs, we first conducted keyword research for each of the venue websites to ensure that they were well optimised in order to maximise reach to the right type of customers. Finally our designers we keen to maintain strong UX to ensure high booking rates, while also maintaining the highly original art direction of the space. Since the launch of the website, we have tripled website traffic and considerably increased revenue for the group.
